In the first conditional, the condition is in the present simple and is talking about something that may happen in the future. This must be accompanied by a comma that divides the second part where the result goes, which goes in the future. clarifying that the comma will define the meaning of the sentence and its structure since if the condition goes at the end it is not necessary to use the comma.
